A Bicycle Safety Rodeo is a skills course designed for kids to improve their bike handling and traffic safety skills. This event will be a symposium of community resources for the family.
Participants will participate in bicycle and pedestrian safety workshops, get their bikes repaired at a bicycle repair station, and participate in a helmet fitting workshop.
We want to thank AARP for choosing Augusta Urban Ministries to be one of the recipients of the 2022 Community Challenge Grant! Grant funds provided local adults with free bikes and safety training. Also, ten three-wheeler adult tricycles were raffled off and gifted to some very lucky senior centers in the Augusta CSRA!
